Cut-off Score Previous Years
Considering the difficulty level of the CIMA examinations, the past pass rates have been quite encouraging. Students who have studied diligently and have adhered to the guidelines laid down by CIMA have been able to clear the examinations comfortably.
From November 1, 2015, CIMA has moved from Raw scores to Scaled Scores for determining whether a candidate has passed or not. Since different students answer different versions of the question papers, the scaled scores are a better representative of how the candidates have fared, and are very useful to evaluate their performance objectively.
In the objective type tests, the candidate’s scores can range between 0 to 150, and they need a score of 100 to pass. The pass percentage for the case study exams is 60%
