Here we are giving study plan for 2 and half months, that includes –
1st revision = 45 days + 2nd revision = 15 days + Final revision = 15 days.
We can definitely complete our preparation in 2 ½ months very easily. In this 2 ½ months preparation you have to do 3 times of revision for CMA Inter Exams. The study plan for CMA Inter exams preparation is as below
How to utilize time during leave period –
Get up early in the morning at 4 AM. Be ready by 5 AM. The material that has been studied, they remain in memory for long.
5 AM. To 7.00 AM | Read Theory |
7 AM. to 7.30 AM. | Breakfast Time |
7.30 AM to 10.30 AM | Read theory – mind is always fresh in the morning |
10.30 AM to 11.00 AM | Relaxation Time |
11.00 AM to 1 PM. | Do/solve practical problems. |
1 PM to 2 PM | Lunch Time |
2 PM to 3 PM | May take a short sleep |
3 PM to 5 PM | Do/solve practical problems. |
5 PM to 5.30 PM | Have a break. |
5.30 PM to 8 PM | Read the theory. |

Time management is a technique with different dimensions and it can be defined through various means. You have to complete your 1st revision in the first 45 days and also you should complete the full revision of your study material.
Here study material means your own class notes/tutorials own material or any preferred publisher’s publication. Even you can prepare the CMA Inter Textbook study material of ICAI.
2nd Revision
No. of days = 15 days
Daily preparation hours = ( 13+1 ) = 14 hrs.

You have to complete your 2nd revision in the next 15 days and once again you have to complete a full revision of your study material which is you prepared in 1st revision.
Note : preparation of ICAI’s Textbook study material is a must and should. So you should do this in 2nd revision.
3rd Revision
No. of days = 15 days
In this 3rd revision, there is no particular time table. Just concentrate on your weak areas of subjects. Once again revise all subjects which you are completed in last 2 months (1stand 2nd revisions). This time also prepare previous years papers, mock test papers, RTP’s and other model papers which are you have. In this time just rewind books which you are already known. Keep away from new chapters because if you concentrate on new topics you may forget already prepared topics.

- Based on the above and marks allotted give weightage to each category and accordingly prepare for the examination, spending more time and effort on important topics However, do not overemphasis the trends. They may go wrong.
- In the case of theory subjects, focus on understanding the concepts thoroughly and its application. In subjects such as law, give due regard to case laws and sections.In subjects such as Economics, spend some effort on statistics and general reading of business newspapers and news magazines.
- In the case of numerical subjects, such as accountancy, costing and mathematics, focus on understanding the methods, formulae and format of presenting the solution. Solve as many problems as you can. Prepare for these subjects from the beginning of the year/ session and on a continuous basis.
- Practice use of your calculator effectively to maximize its efficiency in the examination Hall. Remember speed is a crucial requirement.
- Self-motivation is very important. motivate yourself and reward yourself.
