The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has released a notification on 30th April clarifying that CMA June 2020 examinations are postponed. The CMA exams are postponed for all the exam levels, i.e CMA Foundation, CMA Inter, CMA Final.

In India, the casualties arising due to the pandemic is rising on an hourly basis, therefore, the entire country especially COVID-19 hit locations are in complete lockdown until May 3. Many educational institutions have rescheduled/ cancelled the examinations/ evaluations until May month. The institute added that, due to the Coronavirus outbreak in India, it has provided e-learning facilities including video lectures to the students preparing for CMA June 2020 examinations. It is an official announcement from ICMAI –

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has decided to postpone the examinations for June, 2020 term due to outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and subsequent lockdown situation in the country. The Foundation, Intermediate and Final examinations that were scheduled from 11th – 18th June, 2020 will now commence from 20th July, 2020.

Eligibility criteria for CMA Intermediate
A candidate should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2)and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts.
Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute.
Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute.
Passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI by whatever name called along with 10+2
