The exam pattern of CS Foundation is:
1) The Foundation Programme is the first level examination in the CS curriculum, comprising of four papers that you have to appear for. The examination under this programme will be a computer-based MCQ examination. Students have to appear for examination from their allotted centers where they will give the exam through a computer.
2) There will be a total of fifty multiple-choice questions for each paper, consisting of 2 marks each. Therefore, the total marks allotted for each paper will be 100 and for all the four papers, 400.
3) There is no negative marking under this programme, therefore, it is always advisable to attempt all the questions.
In order to pass this program you have to secure:
1) 40% marks in each paper.
2) 50% marks aggregate.
