CS Foundation Syllabus contains 4 subjects. Foundation Course for Company Secretary (CS) is an eight months duration course which is the first level study on the path of becoming a Company Secretary.

The course provided by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a mixture of postal tuition and optional coaching classes. Study material is provided to the student at the time of admission.

Am I eligible to take the CS Foundation exams?

You are eligible for CS Foundation if you satisfy the following criteria:
1) Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination of a Board/University constituted by law in India or any examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto are eligible.
2) Provisional admission is allowed to a candidate who has appeared or enrolled for appearing in Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) examination, provided proof of passing the examination is produced within 6 months of making the application.
