CS Executive old syllabus last attempt and CS Professional old syllabus last attempt extended to June 2021
The ICSI has announced that the students enrolled under the 2012 old syllabus will get another attempt at the exams in June 2021. This is applicable for both CS Professional old syllabus last attempt and CS Executive old syllabus last attempt.
Attempt for 3 electives in CS Professional also extended
The ICSI has also announced that the last attempt for 3 of the CS Professional (New Syllabus) electives – Forensic Audit, Direct Tax Laws and Practice, and Valuation and Business Modelling – has also been extended to June 2021.
Switching back to Old Syllabus from New Syllabus is not allowed
The ICSI has made it clear that if any student has already switched to the New Syllabus then they will not be allowed to switch back to the Old Syllabus.
The CS Professional old syllabus last attempt and CS Executive old syllabus last attempt extension to June 2021 is only for students currently enrolled in the old syllabus schemes.

It is important to note that the CS Executive Old Syllabus last attempt and CS Professional Old Syllabus last attempt have been extended to June 2021 only in response to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. This is not a permanent feature and it does not set any precedent for further extension.
All students will be mandatorily switched over to the CS Executive New Syllabus and CS Professional New Syllabus from December 2021 exam session onwards without any exception.
No requests for switching back to the old syllabus scheme will be entertained from December 2021 session.
