What is DipIFR Program – Diploma in IFRS by ACCA
The Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) can be studied online to fit your studies around your work and social commitments. The diploma can be completed in three to six months.
DipIFR is assessed by a three-hour written exam held twice a year with a pass mark of 50 per cent. You can apply online at any time to start studying DipIFR.
DipIFR is supported by study materials from ACCA’s Approved Content Providers.
Who can do DipIFR Program
If you are a professional accountant or auditor who works in practice or business, and are qualified according to national accounting standards, then you are eligible to take this ACCA financial reporting qualification.
If you are working in practice, but not yet qualified, then you may still be eligible. You will need to prove that you have one of the following:
- Two years’ relevant accounting experience and a relevant degree (attracting at least ACCA qualification exemptions F1-F4)
- Two years‘ relevant accounting experience and an ACCA Certificate in International Financial Reporting
- Three years’ relevant accounting experience
- ACCA affiliate status

ACCA DipIFR Course Details
The Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) is assessed by a single three-hour, 15 minute written exam. You will need to achieve a 50 per cent mark or above to complete the paper. The exam is held twice a year – in June and December at ACCA’s exam centres. Please see the dates and fees tab for the most up-to-date exam dates.
There are two sections to the paper which requires a mix of calculations and written answers. The assessment marks are split as follows:

The exams for the Diploma in International Financial Reporting will be held on:
- 8 June 2018
EXAM STARTING TIMES
The exams are held concurrently in five different time zones.
Starting times in each of these time zones will be:
Zone 1 – 08:00
Zone 2 – 10:00
Zone 3 – 14:00
Zone 4 – 15:00
Zone 5 – 17:00
Local starting times will be set for every centre using these base start times.
DipIFR EXAM FEES
- NEW APPLICANTS
The fee is £185. This allows one exam attempt.
- THOSE ALREADY REGISTERED
–> A fee of £185 is applicable until 30 April 2018.
–> A fee of £299 is applicable 1-7 May 2018.
Registered DipIFR students re-sitting the examination in June 2018 should enter through the myACCA account created at the time of registration. When you log in to your myACCA and choose ‘exam entry’, you will then select the country you want to sit your exam in. This will provide you with a list of available exam centres within that country, for that particular exam session.

The quickest way to become a DipIFR student is to apply online. To be registered for the June 2018 examination session, please ensure ACCA receives your supporting documents no later than 21 April 2018.
