The first step of preparation for the SSC CGL exam is the knowledge of the syllabus, exam pattern and the selection process after qualifying the exam.

SSC CGL exam is conducted every year for the Graduates. SSC CGL consists of Four important sections for Tier I namely Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness  and English Comprehension. The Tier II exam consists of two important papers. They are Paper I (Quantitative Ability), Paper II (English Language & Comprehension), Paper -III* (Statistics – only for those who have applied for post of Statistical Investigator) and Paper – IV* (Finance & Accounts, Economy & Governance – only for those who are applying for the post of AAO).

The candidates must have a strong knowledge in the mathematical concepts (school level) and also in basic reasoning skills. Better start your preparation from General Intelligence & reasoning.   • Study for minimum 10 hours daily.
  • Revise the topics again and again which are very familiar to you.
  • Don’t learn any new techniques or new topics, because it won’t help you in your last minute preparation.
  • Take Mock Test daily at the end of the day (Eg: 5:00 PM to 6:15PM)
  • Start the test (Mock Test as well SSC CGL Exam) with the section you are more confident about it.
  • Take 45 seconds to 1 minute for solving each question. This strategy will improve your speed and also you can attempt maximum number of questions
