The Combined higher secondary level examination or SSC CHSL examination are conducted every year for recruitments of the various posts as Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India. The Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL, 10+2) is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the various posts which are as follows:
• Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants(PA/SA)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO).
• Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC).
• Court Clerk.
SSC CHSL 2017-18: Notification
There has been a little delay in the SSC CHSL examination but finally, Staff Selection Commision has released the SSC CHSL 2017-18 Recruitment for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Data Entry Operator(DEO).

Important Changes in the SSC CHSL 2017-18 exam pattern:
- SSC CHSL 2018 TIER I will be fully online mode.
- The time duration for TIER I is reduced from 120 minutes to 75 minutes.
- TIER II examination is a descriptive type which will be conducted in offline mode.
- There will be no sectional cut-off.
- TIER III pattern is similar to that of previous years.
