The Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL, 10+2) is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the various posts which are as follows:

Important Changes in the SSC CHSL 2017-18 exam pattern:
- SSC CHSL 2018 TIER I will be fully online mode.
- The time duration for TIER I is reduced from 120 minutes to 75 minutes.
- TIER II examination is a descriptive type which will be conducted in offline mode.
- There will be no sectional cut-off.
- TIER III pattern is similar to that of previous years.
